First Responders - Police, Military, Firefighter - Wooden American Flag

First Responder wooden flags are variations of the official 50-star American flag, with the eighth stripe (immediately below the union) an alternate, accent color representing first responders. These wooden flags are an excellent way to support and honor a first-responder American hero.

• Stripes are first slightly burned, then stained to give a rustic look, emphasizing the true character of the wood.

• Stars are carved into the union to give sharp, precise images.

• We employ durable solid wood construction with glue and cleats. Since the character of the wood is visible, no two flags are exactly alike.

• Each flag is normally treated with polyacrylic finish that will provide excellent protection for many years. Storing and displaying these flags indoors is recommended. Weather-resistant finish is available at an additional cost.

• First Responder flags are available in 3 sizes and are presented with black and white stripes.

• Sold without frames or with several frame styles (additional charge for framing). Mounting hardware included

• All of our flags are charred to allow the grain patterns to pop in the wood. This charring process can cause the wood to contract causing warping of the wood. We carefully inspect each flag before assembling and again at shipping. We discard any piece that does not meet our quality control.
