Historic Betsy Ross Wooden American Flag

Betsy Ross wooden flags are representations of the historic original 13 Stars and Stripes flag. It was introduced in 1777, carried by the Continental Army during the American Revolution, and retired in 1796. Its distinguishing feature is a circle of thirteen 5-pointed stars in the union, representing the thirteen original colonies.

• Hand made in the USA by military veterans and first responders.

• Stripes are first slightly burned, then stained to give a rustic look, emphasizing the true character of the wood.

• Stars are carved into the union to give sharp, precise images.

• We employ durable solid wood construction with glue and cleats. Since the character of the wood is visible, no two flags are exactly alike.

• Each flag is normally treated with polyacrylic finish that will provide excellent protection for many years. Storing and displaying these flags indoors is recommended. Weather-resistant finish is available at an additional cost.

• Betsy Ross flags are available in 3 sizes and three standard color styles: red, white, and blue; red, natural, and blue; subdued. Custom color styles are available (including first-responder styles).

• Sold without frames or with several frame styles (additional charge for framing). Mounting hardware included.

• All of our flags are charred to allow the grain patterns to pop in the wood. This charring process can cause the wood to contract causing warping of the wood. We carefully inspect each flag before assembling and again at shipping. We discard any piece that does not meet our quality control.
