OUR STORY

The Original Flag Company was founded in 1977 by a career Air Force veteran and continued on by a local first responder to produce high-quality wooden reproductions of Old Glory. Our flags are produced entirely in the USA (beautiful Southwest Virginia) by US military veterans and first responders. It is our pleasure to provide you a patriotic keepsake that can be treasured for many years.

 

 

MY STORY

My name is Chris Poff and I am the new owner of The Original Flag Company since the beginning of 2022. I take great pride in providing high quality products. While I am not a military veteran myself, I have a long history of military service in my family. Most recently is my father, who is an Air Force veteran. I serve my community as a Firefighter/Paramedic for a local fire department as my full time career. I have always loved this country and woodworking and I take pride in both of those aspects. My good friend Kee Miller who is a US Navy veteran works along side me in producing these incredible flags.
